My 221st Platinum, Monster Hunter World (took roughly 550h).
I originally enjoyed the game but it got really old near the end.

While it took me 550 hours to get my platinum for the base game, I could have did it a lot sooner but I started making progress in Iceborne which also helped speed up killing shit. Thanks to the overpowered weapons and armor.

I started MHW with a couple of friends and my dad, hoping they would have been in it for the long haul, but unfortunately they stopped playing pretty early and then I had to do the rest solo.

I enjoyed the slow progress of getting better gear to have a better chance at the next mission. I also enjoyed seeing and challenging all the different species of monsters. 

The one thing I didn’t enjoy and its probably the same for most people who go after this platinum is the crown farming. Its just too much. The events helped quite a bit, because tbh I probably wouldn’t have gotten the platinum if it wasn’t for them but still it may have helped getting me the crowns but it didn’t help with the boredom of the grind.

I would have probably enjoyed the game and platinum more if I didn’t spend 75% of my time on it solo.

That’s all I’m gonna say about the game as I want to forget about it since I still have the rest of Iceborne to do  [-_-] 

Difficulty rating,  a 10/10, the rating is purely based on the crown farming and dealing with the shitty clunky mechanics and boredom

Fun rating, a 2/10. Same as above…

Do yourself a favour, stay away from this one if all you want is the platinum trophy
