Where it all began for me!
7 September 1997
My 222nd Platinum, Final Fantasy VII (took roughly 50h).
This and a few others that will be listed soon on the site are some of my favourites that got me gaming way back in the day.
This game is just a nostalgic trip with the bonus of a platinum trophy. It was actually really nice to replay this after Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Just seeing all the original details to things that I had just seen with next gen graphics was trippy.
I remember just how breath taken I was seeing cinematics for the first time and the 3D models. It was also my first time seeing a game on more than one disc.
Also taking about first times [:D] I genuinely shed a tear when Aerith got speared.
Oh man, so many good memories!
Difficulty rating, a 5/10, not too bad even without cheats. Nothing abit of preparation won’t allow you to overcome.
Fun rating, a 10/10. I enjoyed my trip down memory lane.
Im looking forward to doing Final Fantasy VIII, IX, X-2, XII, XIII-3 and XIV. I also believe there is a few spinoffs like World of Final Fantasy that I would like to do too.
